German company Memorysolution introduced its first Solid State Drive (SSD) from MAXFLASH. It is based on Samsung’s MLC flash memory and Indilinx IDX110M00-LC 'Barefoot' controllerchip which, in combination with the 64 MB of writing cache allows the SSD to reach speeds of 230 MB/s and 160 MB/s for respectively reading and writing. It also features a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, a JMicron controller and a mini USB connector. According to Maxflash the disk is shock-proof up to 1500G.
